So Pete and Mary Kathryn have gotten married and are back from their honeymoon and almost a month in to marriage, and we are just now getting a blog post on it! We have been slacking! Their wedding was absolutely beautiful. MK shined through her happiness and you could definitely tell that it was the best day of Pete's life. They are such a great couple and I know they will be nothing but happy in their marriage. The wedding and reception was in the Syracuse, NY area. The ceremony was in a beautiful catholic church with wood ceilings and beautiful stain glass. All the ladies wore green and MK carried white calla lilies. The guys had beautiful yellow calla lily boutonnieres that matched the ladies yellow calla lilies. Following the ceremony we all hung out and watched as the wedding party and family took pictures. At one point they were all outside and had to run inside to miss the downpour of rain that hit for about 5-10 minutes!! No one got wet though. Following all of that fun we took off to the reception which was at an awesome lodge. It's tall scaling timber framed window set the scene for the whole reception. From the carabineer and trail mix favors, to the hiking trail wedding cake everything was 100% Pete and MK. It was so wonderful. The food was outstanding...so good that at one point Brian didn't even notice that hot wax was dripping down his back from the candle above him!! haha! We all danced and ate and were merry :) It was nothing but a wonderful night with family filled with love and cheer. It was great to be able to catch up some with family and enjoy the company. Enjoy a few pictures :)
