Did Somebody Say Sushi??

Brian and I often times pick up sushi for dinner b/c we really enjoy it and it isn't pizza, greasy chinese, or corn dogs (Other Favorites! haha). So I thought I would catch a couple shots of a typical set up! XO

Brian and the Squirrel Trap

So Brian has been more than just annoyed by our pesky little Squirrels. So he had been brainstorming on ways to get rid of them without hurting them (after I shot down the idea of tagging them with the paintball gun!). So he thought...

and thought...

Then it came to him! Ahh HAH! I know how to get those buggas.

So what was this Brilliant Idea? Did he actually catch any Squirrels?

Let's See...

Sooo...the Brilliant idea of using the cat taxi, peanuts for bait, and fishing wire to pull the cat taxi door close once a squirrel ventured in for a tasty treat... WORKED!! Jux was the signal for when any squirrels were veturing around the deck..then Brian would take his post and wait for the little squirrel to get really curious and follow its little nose in to the pet taxi for some peanuts. Then he would quickly pull the door closed with the fishing wire and boom! Squirrel in the pet taxi! Once he had a squirrel in the pet taxi, posed for his "I AM ALL THAT IS MAN" shot while half standing the the pet taxi which has the squirrel in it, he would cart the little bugga off to the church down the road. He then would let the squirrel go in the field by the woods at the church with hopes to never see the little guy again! Following the release he would drive back home and set up to get ready to do the whole adventure again!! He ended up catching and relocating 3, but we have 2 new ones now! haha! So he is attemtping new battles to catch more than 1 at a time!! He wants to make a Rousseau Trap like on LOST! Hopefully it will be just as fun and just as exciting!

Brian made us some bookshelves for our loft! We had previously painted the wall Navy Blue (My fav. wall in the house) and then we needed someplace to put the books we had...SO Brian made us this AWESOME bookshelf! It is a completely custom design and fit for our space. We plan on putting a small chair by the window and a lamp and that will complete the loft! Yayy!! Another room down! It is kind of an akward room to shoot, but hopefully it gives you an idea of how GREAT they look!!
